With New Year’s Eve and 2016 fast approaching, here’s a tutorial to help you create amazing cupcake toppers to wow your friends and family. What better way to celebrate the new year than with these yummy cupcakes?!
What you will need:
- Rolling Pin
- Star Cutter
- 2 X Circle cutters (1 small and 1 medium)
- Edible Glue
- Paint Brush
- Edible Black Pen
- White Sugarpaste
- Black Sugarpaste
Roll out the black sugarpaste about 3mm thick and cut out a circle using the medium sized circle cutter
Now roll out the white sugarpaste about 2mm thick and this time cut out a circle using the smaller cutter
To make the star sprinkles simply roll out the black sugarpaste again (thinner this time) and using the star cutter cut out several stars
Use the paintbrush and edible glue to stick the white disc onto the black disc. You will need to leave this to dry for a few hours before using the edible pen to draw on the time and arms of the clock
To finish your cupcakes pipe a buttercream swirl and then place on the clock topper and sprinkle on the black stars.
